Find All the News!

Newspapers, Radio and TV Stations are online now.  Seriously!  Easier to find now more than ever before.  Last year there were over 7,500 online radio stations.  Now the same list has over 9,000!!!  There must be something you like to listen to. 

Since only one station gets a specific name for their call letters, you can probably find that station by entering www.(Your Local Station).com!   They might not be there yet, but I'll bet they do it soon.

Now I've done it.  I just gave you a simple trick for finding things on the net.  If you know what (or who) you're looking for, why not try entering the name of the company or product between the www and .com, or .org, or .gov?   I think you see where I'm going with that.  Give it a try next time you want to find something.

If you're going out you might want to get directions first (and maybe a map too!).  Mapquest has been around for a while now.  This is a place where you can get maps of almost anywhere!  Not only can you get a map, you can get door to door driving directions, too.  You can chose from most direct to scenic and more.  Puts new meaning in the phrase, "Where do you want to go today?"  

If you don't need driving directions, that's fine too!   Maybe you'd like to find a hotel near the wedding reception that you have to go to.   I did just that!  There is an option to identify all hotels within a radius of the location you just got a map of.  Now that was handy for me, it just might be for you.

Of course a map doesn't do you any good if you're not sure where to get what you're not sure you need.  Does that make sense?  Trying to find the right disability aids isn't all that easy.  Or is it?
